I am very happy to be invited to IEEE International Forum on Smart Grids for Smart Cities: #AI for #SmartCities. I will talk about methods, case studies, and experiment-based analysis for transportation and water networks #resilience on March 22.
An overview of critical infrastructure resilience: Methods, case studies and experiment-based analysis for transportation and water networks resilience
Critical infrastructures are the backbones of cities for sustaining the quality of life. Urbanisation, population, and climate change-related disasters have been increasing at an unprecedented rate that managing functionality of critical infrastructures or providing continuous services become more and more challenging. Addressing urban resilience by developing recovery strategies and providing solutions for those emerging disruptions are a matter of urgency. While various resilience and performance loss assessment approaches have been emerging for water, energy, and transportation networks, there is not yet a consolidated method/view on how to evaluate resilience. In this talk, I will give an overview of the resilience of critical infrastructures including methods, case studies, experiment-based resilience analysis for transportation and water networks.Â
